Chenin Blanc is a versatile variety that at it's youthful best is brilliantly fresh & lively but it also ages well developing much different characters & flavours over time.
This aged Chenin is no exception. A beautiful, bright golden hue in the glass displaying stonefruit characters with distinct beeswax aromas, which are desirable in certain aged white wines.
White peach & nectarine up front on the palate with background hints of dried figs. Prominent acidity & minerality still that balances & compliments a smooth, rounded out viscous honeyed finish.
A versatile wine to just savour by itself or alongside any white meat dish, including seafood & shellfish. Perfect pairing with any cheese selection.
