2016 Limited Release Sebastian Shiraz

Powerful intense colours, aromas & flavours with a concentration & palate weight that must be experienced. Fruit selected from a 70-year-old single vineyard processed & matured in the finest French oak for 18 months. Rich deep purple colours with iridescent hues have been perfectly preserved.  Primary berry aromas stand out with oak characters that provide background notes of mocha & dark chocolate.

Both the bouquet & palate include darker fruit of plum, black cherry with riper blackberry flavours adding complexity. Wonderfully balanced with fine-grained tannins providing length with a smooth, velvety, and unctuous plush finish. Perfect now but will also continue with cellaring potential.
