Smooth & supple displaying such elegance. Ruby red in colour with some deeper hues. Prominent earthy, savoury aromas with berries & cherry with smooth vanilla nuances. Charry cedar notes from 18 months of maturation in high-quality French & American oak are also present, although now softened to add depth & complexity.
A wonderfully rich & luscious palate including mixed berries initially with plenty of concentrated forest floor fruit flavours including mulberry, plum, & dark cherry layered over hints of chocolate & mocha. All balanced out with integrated, plush, silky tannins. A lingering finish with subtle spice at the end to round it all out. Superbly layered, powerful yet refined revealing a lovely to drink now wine.
