Brini Wines Vineyard Update: A Promising Season Ahead
From the Vineyard š
It has been a wonderful year for rain here in Blewitt Springs, and the vineyard is looking full of life. After the challenges of drier seasons, it has been great to see our dams so full. I honestly donāt remember seeing them looking better.Ā
With good rainfall through the season, the soils are in excellent condition, and the vines are well placed as we look ahead to the 2026 vintage. If the El Niño predictions are correct and we move into a warmer, drier period, we feel we are in a great position with strong soil moisture and full dams behind us.
The dams have also brought plenty of life with them. We have resident wild ducks here on the property, and they do a great job helping keep the snails down. One little family of ducks seems to have adopted our mother goose, or maybe it is the other way around. She roams between the dams with them, always close by, and if anything looks like a threat, she lets everyone know about it. She is definitely the protector.

There is still a long way to go, as there always is in the vineyard, but the full dams, healthy soils and vines coming into the season give us plenty to be thankful for.
Recent Wine Reviews ā
Recent reviews have given Brini plenty to celebrate, with multiple 95-96 point Wine Pilot scores for our mature single-vineyard Shiraz and Young Gun of Wine recognition for the 2015 Museum Release Chenin Blanc.
A good excuse to stock up during the Fatherās Day sale, with 15% off sitewide.
Good Food & Wine Shows š·
It has been a great year getting out on the road for the Good Food & Wine Shows. We have loved pouring our wines and meeting so many of you in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a taste, a chat, or to take some Brini Wines home with you. These events are always a great reminder of why we love sharing our wines and our family story.
We are looking forward to Brisbane in October for the final Good Food & Wine Show of the year. We hope to see many familiar faces there, and plenty of new ones too.
Good wine, always and always.
